How did you come to North Hills?: Came in 1996 as youth pastor. In 1998 went back to school (ASUW) and got Masters Degree in Social Work with counseling emphasis. Transitioned from youth ministry to pastoral care. Started Celebrate Recovery in 2001 and transitioned into Pastor of Recovery Ministries and Counseling.
What is your role here?: Create and facilitate recovery based programs and seminars to help people reclaim their identity in Christ. To provide Christ centered counseling and other resources to facilitate healing, hope and encouragement to make healthy choices in our lives.
What’s the best part about your role?: Seeing people reclaim their identity in Christ and become who they were created to be.
Hobbies: Photography, camping, movies, softball
Passions: God, my family, and walking with others in recovery.
If you were an animal, what would you be?: Dog – loyal, protective, willing
Favorite book: It’s hard to say. I love books that moves me to love deeper, listen louder, and speak softer. My favorite authors are Cloud, Townsend, Arteburn and Lucado

What makes you laugh?: Seinfeld reruns

Anything else fun or interesting about you?: I work full time for Child Protective Services. I love being a part of something that brings hope to families and children. Ten years ago I started a non-profit agency called Xtreme Grace Ministries. XGM’s mission is to provide affordable Christ centered coaching and counseling for people dealing with life’s pain.
