CORE TRAINING

Summer ending…vacation over… school starting…this is the time of year where we begin to get back into the routine. .  We are getting ready for the fall.  Prep time.  In fact, many people begin to realize that it is time to start getting back to the gym and back in shape.  Core training is all about working out the core of your body, the part of your body that needs the most attention, the part that supports the rest of the body.   Core Values are what shape us and make us the people we are…  they are the non-negotiables in our lives and in this case our church….  They define the decisions we make and what we will and won’t do. What we cherish at our core is what we aim at in our lives!  Get ready for some focus on our core! Get ready to shape up as a church!

Unstoppable

Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize?  So run to win! 1 Corinthians 9:24

Big Idea:  Discovering how to win the race of life
The summer Olympics are upon us.  Athletes are gathered in London ready to put all their preparation into the one goal:  to win!  During this two part series we will look at how we are in an even more important race, to discover who God is and who we are because of who He is.  What does it take to win the prize? First, it requires training.  What does that mean for a Christ follower?  Secondly, it means staying in the race till the finish line. How do we make that happen?  Come and join us as we figure out how to be unstoppable!

Chasing Family

Series Big Idea: Finding the family we always wanted

Why is family so hard to do? It feels like families face difficult challenges today simply being family to each other. How do we discover what family was intended to look like and change the dynamic from one of pain to one of joy? We all need families but we struggle to find them.
